Build a Lead Pool Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io to build the generic list... BuiltWith is a killer for targeting competitors - just search their software and download a lead list - that's my favorite if you have a famous competitor that you're better than 2. Verify Emails with Automation Clay is my go-to for setting up a "verification waterfall." It checks emails across multiple providers to save time and improve accuracy - Findymail, Datagma, LeadMagic... they're all in there For advanced users, you can use APIs instead of Clay credits to cut costs 3. Personalize with AI This approach is far more powerful than generic compliments - the old strategy we pioneered back in 2015. I follow every cold email guru in the space and it's kinda funny how every single one of the good ones ended up in the same place in the last few weeks: * Custom SMTP for sending with SUPER low volumes per inboxes * Heavy customization on the lead generation side and * Advanced clay automation to qualify leads before reaching out So that you can send to 5k leads a month for a few hundred bucks and still get results But it's funny when I stumble on some of the guys that have been around for a few years that still quote the basics from my book Cold Email Manifesto: I'm talking 30 emails a day, spintax, AI written first lines.... These aren't even 2023 tactics. These are legit ripped from 2021 with no changes. And it's shocking to me that people still buy these courses and masterminds where the content has just not been updated in almost half a decade. It's not like the cutting edge information isn't out there Hell they could just join this mastermind or any number of real killer cold email groups and get the latest data... But they'd rather focus on growth and chasing down the next 10k client to join their group (paid all upfront of course with no ability to cancel and a fake guarantee) It'd be scary if there wasn't another option In this day and age when ALL the info isn't even gatekept... to be spouting outdated recommendations is sloppy at worst and negligent at best.
